Cheap and Cheerful - FULL

How to extend good quality resources with free and found materials.

Coming to this workshop with the knowledge that you have established an enabling environment for children in your care. This workshop will be ‘hands on’ giving you the opportunity to explore ‘free and found materials’ that will enhance play and learning. There will be the opportunity to engage in our ‘swap shop’.

Target Audience: All Early Years Practitioners and Professionals who have an interest in Childrens Learning. You should indicate to us the age of the children you are working with when registering for this workshop.

‘Are you sitting comfortably then we will begin’

Stories, storytelling and rhymes.

During this workshop you will explore stories through books and props. Develop your knowledge and skills in storytelling to engage children’s imagination. Learn new and remember your favourite rhymes introducing musical instruments into ‘singing times’.

Target Audience: All Early Years Practitioners and Professionals who have an interest in Childrens Learning from; 2 - 7 years.

Cooing and Chatting

Using the home of Beginning with Babies, we will show you how to effectively change your space to enhance ‘cooing and conversation’. We will be sharing story books, songs and rhymes and lycra play with very young children in mind.
Our cave has been incorporated into this space using a variety of sensory materials. Come, coo and chat.

Target Audience: All Early Years Practitioners and Professionals who have an interest in Childrens Learning from; 0 - 2 years.
