Whatever Next is a great story to bring a wealth of imaginative play and lovely activities. Join baby bear as he travels to the Moon and back, on the way making friends with an owl, having a picnic and travelling home in time for bathtime.

Art Attack - A Rocket to the Moon!
Try and get some cardboard boxes from a local supermarket and allow the children to create their own transport.... will it be a rocket like the bear? Or a hot air balloon? Or a car?
Cosy Corners - Moon Landing!
In a den frame we could make the moon landscape, or the night sky, or a space rocket! It can be anything we want it to be. Put out a selection of fabrics, textures, den clips, bungees and see where the childrens imaginations go.
Snack Time - Baby Bears Picnic
Bear has a picnic on the moon with his friends, let’s make our own picnic and take it on a journey! Into the garden or the woods! Where can our imaginations take us? Oh look! I see the moon, let’s land there! Sing - If you go down to the woods today...
SONGS - Five Little Men
5 Little Men in a flying saucer is great with this book
Also
You can bounce silver stars on black fabric, play I’m a firework by Katie Perry and bounce along to the music.
Where else can I use these resources....
As with all our resources we look to use them in as many ways as possible. It isn't how many resources you have, it's how you use them, here is just an idea for the next step with your Whatever Next! Book Pack...

WOW! said the owl - Using the owl puppet from the Whatever Next Book pack introduce colours and creativity with this wonderful story about all the colours of the rainbow. Use sparkly blue star fabric for both Whatever Next! and Wow! said the owl. Create free flowing rainbow pictures with natural resources found outside.
